I am thrilled to welcome you to another exciting year at Gilbert. As your principal, I am proud of our school's commitment to providing a student-centered environment where every child can thrive. Our dedicated staff shares a passion for education and is devoted to nurturing each scholar’s growth and success.  

At Gilbert, we take significant strides forward in preparing our students for the future. Our schoolwide commitment to AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) strengthens our focus on college and career readiness for all students.By utilizing AVID strategies across all grade levels, we teach our scholars essential organizational and critical thinking skills, while building college awareness through our annual college field trips to ensure they are equipped for long-term academic success. Additionally, we are proud to offer our Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program as a unique pathway option, fostering bilingualism, biliteracy, and cross-cultural competence from an early age.

We believe that families play a crucial role in this educational journey. You are your child's first and most important teacher, and we look forward to partnering with you to support your child's learning and development. Together, we can create a positive and enriching experience for our students.
